Going to the gym can be quite hard, especially when you have a busy schedule or are on a budget. There is always the option of going outside, but on cold or rainy days it is always useful to have a few workout DVDs lying around.

We picked four of our favourites that prove that you do not need to hit the gym to get a killer workout.

Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Bum Blitz
Together with her two trainers, Richard Callendar and David Souter, we are guided through 12 rounds of HIIT, each three minutes long. The full workout is broken down into different clips, so on busy days you can choose your favourite rounds hassle-free. Before each section each move is explained to make sure you do not injure yourself. Crosby’s fun and loveable personality is also an added little bonus.
Suitable for both beginners and intermediate.

Jillian Michaels: No More Trouble Zones
Jillian, known for her slightly sassy and no-nonsense attitude, has a range of different workout videos. Our favorite has got to be the ‘No More Trouble Zone’ workout. The DVD consists of seven circuits, which get repeated twice. All circuits include five moves, targeting different muscle groups (legs, arms, core). This fitness routine is great for muscle toning as it only includes reps with lightweights.
Suitable for intermediate.

Kym Marsh: Power Sculpt
The Coronation Street actress teamed up with Matt Baker and Sam Witter, both personal trainers, to create a series of workouts designed to boost your metabolism. With a total of six circuits, this ultimately will help you burn fat whilst sculpting your muscles and transforming your body. Whereas Phase 1 includes three beginner routines, Phase 2 includes three advanced ones. However, if you are a complete beginner you will have the options to try the easy versions during each stage. The great part about this workout is that it tones different muscles.
Suitable for both beginners and intermediate.

Davina McCall Davina 5 Week Fit
Davina’s energetic and bubbly personality will make exercising at home fun and entertaining. The 21-minute fitness challenge includes four high-intensity seven-minutes circuits, one cool down and two warm videos. A great addition is the ‘5 Week Planner’, which tailors a workout regime for you. This exercise routine will greatly build up your stamina and tone muscles.
